Sherri Robbins

Sherri’s desire is to provide compassionate, professional therapy that inspires every person to live out his or her full potential. She has an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and a BA in Ministry and Leadership from Life Pacific University. In addition to licensure in North Carolina and Maryland, Sherri is a National Certified Counselor, and a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors.

After nearly two decades in pastoral ministry, Sherri decided to pursue professional counseling in order to help individuals, couples and families in a greater capacity. Sherri’s therapy focus is with teens, adults, couples, and families, from various backgrounds and beliefs. In order to meet the individual needs of her clients, she uses various therapeutic approaches such as EMDR therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy and Gottman Marriage Therapy. Sherri is passionate about facilitating the restoration of those who have experienced trauma, who feel stuck, have relationship issues, and who suffer from anxiety and depression. She believes that beauty is birthed in brokenness and that a sense of belonging and a person’s story is an important part of the journey to wholeness.
